Cirque du Soliel: Saltimbanco

Taunja wanted tickets to Cirque du Soliel's local presentation of Saltimbanco for her birthday, which it turned out was right down the street at NKU's new arena.  We went Thursday night, and I have to say it was quite a show.

It was my first time in the new arena (it opened this summer, I think).  There really didn't seem to be too many bad seats in the place... no columns or anything to block views.  The biggest issue is that the top few rows (~4) at the top of the second level are benches... not seats.  E.g. they don't have any backs.  My Parents & youngest sister had tickets for here and it would have been quite an irritating experience for 2 hours, but luckily they were able to move down to lower seats and, at the intermission, moved down to the lower level right behind our seats.

If you've never seen Cirque du Soliel, I highly recommend checking out a show.  It's really an amazing spectacle and it's incredible to see what people are able to do with their bodies.  The music and choreagraphy are always awesome... even the stage hands are integrated into the show and fit in nicely.  So far we've seen Quidam a few years ago and now Saltimbanco... and I think we'll go see the next show that comes to town too.

Anyone else seen this show?  What was your favorite act?
